Pokhara, Feb 1: Senior journalist, Narayan Karki, has been feted with a journalism award funded by Pokhara Sub Metropolitan City.
The City conferred its annual journalism award to journalist Karki for making exemplary contribution in Pokhara’s socio-economic development through journalism during a programme held to mark its 21st anniversary.
Finance Ministry’s Joint Secretary, Jhalak Ram Adhikari, presented the award carrying a purse of Rs 15,000 along with a shawl and an appreciation letter to the journalist.
Karki, who is a former National News Agency (RSS) Regional Office, Pokhara Chief, is currently associated with BBC Nepal service and is editor – in – chief of Samadhan Rastriya daily. RSS
