Baglung, Sept 2: A man died after being swept away by the Badigad River at Burtibang of the district Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Tek Bahadur Pun of Darling-5 in the district, according to police.
Police said that the incident occurred while the 56-year-old man had been to the River to have bath. He was found dead on the River bank Friday noon.
The witnesses said Pun who was taking a bath on the river bank was swept away by river while he attempted to retrieve his shoe being floated on the river. RSS
