Kathmandu, Sept 2: The Social Justice and Human Rights Committee of the Legislature-Parliament has directed the government to constitute a committee to look into land-related issues dating back to the decade-long conflict in the country.
The Friday meeting of the Committee instructed the Ministry of Land Reform and Transport and the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction to constitute the ‘Problems Resolution Committee’ in cooperation with the village peace committees to rearrange registrations of houses and the land destroyed and usurped during the conflict, Committee President Sushil Kumar Shrestha said.
Besides, the meeting agreed to form a five-member committee to investigate mysterious death of Ajit Mijar from Kavre. RSS
