Biratnagar, March 1: A motorcyclist died after he was hit by a passenger bus here today. The deceased has been identified as Khelu Majhi, 20, of Tankisinuwari, Morang.
A bus (Ko 1 Kha 4909) bound for Dharan from Biratnagar hit his motorcycle (Ko 4 Pa 2498) in motion at Bansbari Chowk-5 at around 10:30 pm, leaving him seriously injured. He died on the way to the local Neuro Hospital, the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar said.
Following the accident, police have arrested the driver and impounded the bus for further investigations.
