CPN (Masal) objects to EC’s decision

Kathmandu, March 20: General Secretary of the CPN (Masal) Mohan Bikram Singh has said that the issues of re-establishing Monarchy and Hindu state mentioned in the party statute of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party were wrong.

Issuing a press release today, leader Singh says these issues lead the nation on the way to regression therefore his party protests these agendas.

Similarly, he has stated that the parties have the constitutional right of professing any ideology and going to the public, and this right could not be curtailed.

The election commission’s decision of removing the portion of reinstatement of the Hindu state and monarchy from RPP’s statute were wrong, the statement further stated. RSS
