Waling, Sept 4: Four members of a single family were buried alive after torrential rain triggered a landslide at Kevarebhanjyang – 7 of Syangja last night.
The landslide fell on a house at 1 am killing Chandra Kumari Saru, 78, her grand- daughter, Humkala Mashrangi, 30, Humkala’s seven-year-old daughter Punam Mashrangi and one-year-old son Milan Mashrangi, said Inspector, Uttam Prakash Baral, of Ward Police Office, Waling.
A police team has recovered the bodies which will be sent to the Waling Primary Health Centre for post-mortem examination. RSS
