Myagdi, Sept 8: The financial aid amounting to more than Rs 200,000 collected for the treatment of kidney patient Indra Khattri of Takam-4 in Myagdi district was handed over on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old patient was handed over the amount through a local organization Om Kumari Fund that was collected from a fund raising campaign launched by the Fund.
The Nepali Diaspora in New Zealand and Australia has also contributed to this cause after Hari Karki and Chinaa KC in Australia spearheaded the campaign to support Khattri.
Khattri, who has both of her kidneys failed, is currently undergoing treatment at Human Organ Transplant Centre in Bhaktapur. RSS
