Kathmandu, Sept 12: Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) on Monday honoured Melina Khadgi, who won a gold medal in the International Poomsae Taekwondo Championship-2016.
Twelve-year-old Khadgi, with her scintillating performance, returned home with a gold medal in the championship held in Hong Kong on February 28.
NOC Chairperson Jeevan Ram Shrestha felicitated Khadgi with a letter of appreciation amidst a programme in the capital.
Congratulating Khadgi for being able to win international medal for the country, Chairperson Shrestha wished her to better her performance in coming days. RSS
