Kathmandu, Sept 13: CPN (UML) leader Surendra Pandey has underlined the need of issuing a white paper by the government regarding the constitution amendment issue.
Speaking at a press meet organised by Press Chautari, Khotang Tuesday, he called on the ruling parties to come up with their clear views over the delineation of provincial boundary and naturalised citizenship (based on marital status)issue.
Leader Pandey was here for his presence in two-day training of party cadres organised by the CPN (UML) Diktel Municipal Committee.
“The constitution is amendable, but the government is supposed to come up with concrete views regarding this,” he said.
He further added that there was dispute within the ruling parties whether disintegrate Sunsari and Kailali and separate Tarai from hill and such dispute had hampered the formulation of an integrated constitution amendment proposal. RSS
