Parents urged not to send their offspring to foreign land to work

Kathmandu, Sept 14: Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank Chiranjibi Nepal today urged people not to send their children to foreign countries to work as ‘there are many job opportunities for youths within the country’.
Nepal’s statement follows scores of Nepali people opting for foreign employment on a daily basis.
He also asked skilled people to show and utilise their efficiency while inaugurating a training organised by the Lord Buddha Education Foundation in collaboration with the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and LBEF Vidyapeeth School of Skills, India to increase capacity and efficiency of those entrepreneurs engaging in various sectors and those Bachelor’s degree graduated.
“The mindset of only Newar and Thakali communities are engaged in business should be changed. Youths should seek opportunities within the country,” he said.
Meanwhile, the training that aims at providing business skills to those Nepalis who have gained Bachelor’s degree will provide teaching on an array of subjects like Information Technology, finance, fashion technology, management and certificate in project management among others. The training will run from one month to three months, the organisers said. RSS
