Khotang. President of Federation of Nepali Journalists, Khotang and Nagarik journalist Daman Rai has been honoured with the development journalism prize 2075.
The Halesi Tuwachung municipality honoured him with the prize Friday in recognition of his contribution to effectiveness, transparency and regularity in the plan and programmes of the municipality through the medium of journalism. The prize carries a purse of Rs. 10,000.
Mayor Iwan Rai presented the prize at the second town assembly of the municipality here on Friday.
