Biratnagar, Aug 28: Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala has said that the country should be guided towards the path of development by ending political stalemate of the country.
At a news conference organised by the Nepal Press Union, Morang, at Biratnagar today, Koirala stressed that all political parties should focus on holding local polls along with implementation of the new constitution.
She further said that factionalism in the party should be ended to make the NC stronger. Leader Koirala expressed the view that more priority should be given to Madhesi and Dalit women to the post of state minister and assistant minister considering the nominal presence of women in the incumbent cabinet.
