Kathmandu, Aug 28: Office bearers of the Tribhuvan University today called on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at his office in Singha Durbar.
During the meeting, the delegation led by TU Vice Chancellor Dr Tirtharaj Khaniya apprised PM of current situation of the varsity. They also congratulated PM Dahal and wished him a successful tenure.
On the occasion, they drew the attention of the government to promote the TU, which has carved out a name for itself as a big university in the international arena.
In response, the PM pledged to provide necessary support to elevate the prestige and image of the TU to a new height, Khaniya told media persons after the meeting.
He said that the PM was positive about their concerns, showing his readiness towards addressing their demands at the earliest. RSS
