Baglung, Aug 29: A Nepali migrant youth in Japan has extended a grant assistance of Rs 20,000 for the Information Centre to be set up by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Baglung Chapter.
Arjun Lamichane, who hails from Amalachaur – 4, and currently living in Japan provided the support. Lamichane’s sister, Laxmi, handed over a cheque bearing the amount to FNJ Baglung President, Mukesh Chandra Rajbhandari.
Lamichane is a member of the FNJ-Baglung Chapter and left for Japan for employment last year.
The Nepali journalists’ umbrella organization, FNJ, plans to set up the Information Centre for providing a wide range of services including an electronic library, information-technology equipment, computer, internet, phone and fax. RSS
