Call for protecting Himalayan heritage

Rasuwa, Oct 23: The constitutional experts have appealed for conserving all sorts of heritages in the Himalayan region to help maintain its dignity on a high scale.

High-Level Administration Reform Implementation and Monitoring Committee Chairman, Kashi Raj Dahal, shared that he was aggrieved at the poaching of the endangered red panda. He called for discouraging individuals involved in the illegal business and conserve red panda.

At a training programme on ‘Role of Civilians’ Education in Building Modern State’ held by FES Nepal, Dahal insisted on conserving the religious and tourist destination of Gosaikunda, Rasuwagadhi transit point to enhance Nepal – China trade and the Pasang Lhamu highway.

It is a common responsibility of all to protect and conserve the bio-diversity found in the Langtang National Park, Dahal said and shared his belief the locals would spread awareness among each other. The training programme which started on Saturday will run for two days. RSS
