Waling, Oct 28: The Khilung Kalika Agro-farm based in Bhirkot municipality-6 of Syangja district has been producing 100,000 eggs daily.
Around a year ago, seven local youths had brought into operation a farm at the investment of Rs 500 millions. Currently there are 150,000 chickens of commercial layers type in the farm.
The farm is producing around 100,000 eggs daily in a regular manner, informed Company’s Chief Executive Officer Shovakanta Dhakal.
“We realized we should initiate something in own village and run the farm using high-tech developed in Germany”, he said.
“The eggs produce now is being supplied to major markets of western region”, he added. Over 100 locals have obtained direct employment in the business. The farm has generated annual income of around Rs 40 million. It has become a place of exposure visits of late for its growing success. RSS
