Dhading, Nov 6: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and Minister for Commerce Romi Gauchan Thakali has stated that the NC should shoulder the responsibility of fending off crisis in the country.
At a programme organized by the NC Goganpani Village Unit Committee at Dhading on Sunday, Minister Thakali argued the NC, under whose leadership the new constitution was promulgated, should save the country from crises.
Stating that the NC had saved the nation from division following the people’s movement in 2062/063 BS, Minister Thakali mentioned that it was a major challenge for the party to take its ideology among the public.
Also speaking at the programme, parliamentarian from NC Dhading Constituency No 1, Dilman Pakhrin underscored the preservation of NC ideals and ideologies, for he argued that the NC was spearheading the national movements.
Likewise, throwing weight behind parliamentarian Pakhrin’s notion, NC Rolpa President Amar Singh Pun asserted that the NC not only talks but walks the talk unlike other political parties in the country. RSS
