Kathmandu, Nov 7: Minister for Law, Justice and Federal Affairs Ajay Shankar Nayak said all political parties in and outside the government should work hand in hand to take the country towards the phase of election.
Speaking at a face-to-face programme organised at local Reporters’ Club, Minister Nayak said extremists would find no space for playing if political parties forged a national consensus and find a way out to the nation from existing political confusions.
He was of the view of seeking a common point of understanding to amend the constitution.
Refuting rumour swirling over the government’s agreement to qualify individuals with naturalized citizenship for contending for the posts of the President and Prime Minister, he termed the rumour baseless.
There is a need of over 80 judges in the high courts and such vacancy would be fulfilled soon, he said. RSS
