Jumla, Aug 31: The operation of educational and scholarly programmes has been hindered at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS) in Jumla district for quite some time now due to the dearth of office-bearers.
The administrative and managerial tasks here were also affected in lack of office-bearers since the Vice-Chancellor of the Academy Dr Paras Kumar Acharya was bidden farewell on May 24.
Academy’s Administrator Dwanda Bahadur Shahi said that the Academy has gone astray since Director Javed Ahmed Khan also left for Kathmandu and the tenure of the Registrar at the Academy also came to end in mid-August
Gayattri Rai, Dean of School of Nursing at the Academy reported the rise of anarchy in the Academy and the rampant negligence among the employees in a prolonged absence of office-bearers.
Staffers too shared their concern about their delayed salary in lack of office-bearers. RSS
