Solukhumbu, Nov 8: After a prolonged discussion an agreement has been reached to restructure the Solukhumbu district with eight local levels.
The all – party meeting has finally come up with a decision on forming one municipality by merging 30 VDCs and seven village councils, said Local Level Restructuring and Technical Assistance Committee Coordinator and Local Development Officer, Krishna Prasad Sapkota.
The eight local levels will have 35 wards. The Committee sent the draft of the agreement to the State Restructuring Commission on Monday. RSS
