Parbat, Aug 31: The Lions Club of Parbat has distributed relief materials to a total of 25 landslide-hit families in Parbat district amid a programme held at Kushma Bazar on Tuesday.
A total of 25 households were displaced by the rain-triggered landslide occurred in various parts of the district.
The relief materials provided to the landslide-displaced families include food items, utensils and clothes, according to Lions Club of Shivalaya President Bisham Kumar Shrestha.
The Club also presented Rs 9,000 to each displaced families.
Speaking at the programme, Chief District Officer of Parbat Shambhu Prasad Marasini urged the locals to stay alert for the incident of landslide could recur. RSS
