Dadeldhura, Nov 18: The Far-Western Regional Fair kicked off here today.
Inaugurating the fair, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba pledged his best support from the political sphere to promote the tourism of the far-western region, emphasizing on the role of locals for this.
The former Prime Minister is in his hometown since his election to the party President. He received the facilitation from the district-based Civil Society on the occasion.
“Protection and promotion of sites of historic importance here would help find the way for its development,” he added.
He went on to say that existing political problems in the country will end soon. The main opposition CPN (UML) and the dissenting Madhes-centric parties have already agreed on the issue of bringing the constitution amendment bill, he said, expressing his confidence that the amendment of the country’s main law will find a smooth way for its enforcement.
