Kathmandu, Aug 31: President Bidya Devi Bhandari was called on by Japanese visiting State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Nobuo Kishi, at the President’s Building, Sheetal Niwas, on Wednesday.
State Minister Nobuo, who is on an official visit to Nepal, paid a courtesy call on the President.
Matters related to the bilateral historical and diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan on the occasion of 60 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties and mutual cooperation and interests were discussed during the meet, said Assistant Spokesperson at the Office of the President, Dhruba Raj Acharya.
Also present on the occasion were Secretary at the President’s Office Bhupendra Prasad Piudel, Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masashi Ogawa and other high-ranking officials, according to the Office of the President. RSS
