Itahari, Sept 2: Minister for Defence Bal Krishna Khad has underscored the unity among the cadres of Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD), the youth wing of Nepali Congress (NC).
Inaugurating the fourth district convention of NTD Sunsari Chapter here Friday, Minister Khand expressed his confidence that the country would undergo a sea change if the cadres worked in unison and moved ahead for the national cause.
Also the former central committee Chairperson of the NTD, Minister Khand spoke of the need for the youth wings to be active again, adhering to the democratic socialism founded by BP Koirala make a headway for development.
He was of the belief that if BP Koirala had got chance for national leadership for at least 15 years, his vision would have propelled the country towards prosperity. He also instructed the cadres not to involve in the fractional politics.
Present at the convention were NC central committee member Bahadur Singh Lama, parliamentarian Ramhari Khatiwada, NC Sunsari Chapter President Rajiv Koirala among others local leaders subscribing to the democratic ideologies. RSS
