Baitadi, Feb 23: The construction of a 2-km-long ring road has completed in district headquarters, Baitadi. after 19 years.
Locals took the initiative to complete the unfinished construction of ring road. The Dasharath Chand municipality had started the construction of the ring road connecting Gothalapani and Shahilake in 2054 BS.
Dispute among the locals on 400 metres stretch of the ring road had halted the construction works. The construction works took a positive turn after the affected families demanding compensation and construction of wall came to an agreement.
There is no bound of happiness among the locals after the construction of ring road.
