Kalaiya, Sept 3: ‘Sajhedari’ – a daily published from Kalaiya has entered into second year of its publication.
Bara District Court Judge Bhojraj Sharma and Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Dhungana jointly inaugurated the second anniversary function here today.
On the occasion, District Judge Sharma highlighted the substantial contribution of media sector to the development of the country and reminded the media of their duty to disseminate authentic, objective and impartial news.
CDO Dhungana expressed happiness over the gradual popularity of the Daily and wished for the successful operation of the newspaper.
Also on the occasion, the winners of district-level oratory contest and essay writing competition on the subject ‘Role of media in the development of the district’ were awarded with prizes.
