Kathmandu, Sept 4: The Supreme Court on Sunday repealed the order it had made on a writ petition filed against government’s decision to recall the ambassadors nominated by the previous government.
A division bench of Justices Gopal Parasjuli and Dr Anand Mohan Bhattarai scrapped the stay order, paving way for the government to appoint new ambassadors.
“The executive has the right to appoint and rescind the decision pertaining to the one representing the country abroad,” the order states. RSS
