Damak, June 2: A person was killed in a wild tusker attack at Haribari of Jhapa last night.
Rathi Meche was killed in an attack from the elephant straying from the Chaukibiram Hariyali Community Jungle in Haldibari rural municipality – 4. Locals informed the police this morning after coming across Meche’s body.
Meche had entered the forest at 3 am to collect mushrooms. He was trampled to death by the pachyderm.
