Hotel fire victims rescued at PM’s direct command

Jajarkot, Sept 6: Four people who were injured in a fire that broke out Sunday at a hotel based in Bherimalika Municipality-4 in Jajarkot have been rescued.
They were rescued a day after the incident, following the direct command of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ towards that end.
CPN (Maoist Center) Jajarkot’s in-charge Ganeshman Singh made initiatives for their rescue. The injured were rescued and taken to the capital on a Nepal Army helicopter Monday.
According to the Prime Minister’s public relations advisor Ramdeep Acharya, the rescue cost would be borne by the Office of the Prime Minister.
Hotel owner Mansingh Khatri, 45, of Karkigaun-6, Gokarna Chand, 18, of Bherimalika-4, Prem Bahadur Rana, 23, of Chaurjahari-7, Rukum and policeman Ramesh Saha suffered burn injuries in a fire that broke out at the Shangita Hotel at Shanti Chautara.
Mansingh’s daughter Sangita Khatri, 18, who had come to meet her parents, was burnt to death in the fire. RSS
