Kathmandu, July 22: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said that Nepal took great strides in the health sector during the governments led by Girija Prasad Koirala.
Initiating a health camp organized by the Girija Prasad Koirala Labour Foundation here today, he said, ‘Girijababu wanted to ensure the people easy access to health services.’ He also made a significant contribution to the labour movement of the country.
Chair of the Foundation and MP Puskar Acharya said it was the labour movement that led to changes in the country, and urged the state to not ignore the problems facing the labourers.
