Mahottari, July 30: One of those injured in a road accident in Mahottari yesterday died in the course of treatment today, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Mohan Paswan, 27, of Dhalkebar in Dhanusa. Paswan was referred to Neuro Hospital of Biratnagar from Janakpur Zonal Hospital where he was initially admitted.
Earlier another injured Sita Devi Jha, 80, of Mahottari had died while being treated at Janakpur Zonal Hospital. Other injured persons are also receiving treatment at various hospitals, police added.
Twenty one persons were injured when a Janakpur-bound passenger bus (Na 2 Kha 150) met the accident. Further investigation was on and a search has been launched for the absconding driver, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Dipak Pokharel.
