Surunga (Jhapa), August 3: Two persons were killed in separate incidents in the district today.
One Sandesh Rai was killed when he came in contact with live wire at Buttabari village of Birtamod Municipality-6, police said, adding that the incident occurred when Rai was trying to connect a multi-plug. He died on the way to Kankai Hospital.
At Gauradaha-1, Mangal Hasda Satar, 45, was found dead floating in a local canal, police said. Satar had gone disappeared since a few days ago, said family.
