Urlabari (Morang), August 11: A cyclist was killed last night after getting rammed by a truck at Biratnagar Metropolitan City – 14 along the Koshi highway.
The deceased has been identified as Manoj Sah, 43, of Biratnagar – 16. The south – bound truck (Ko 1 Kha 5182) struck the ill-fated cycle inflicting fatal injuries on Sah, who died in course of treatment at 9 pm at the Koshi Zonal Hosptal, Biratnagar.
Area Police Office, Rani has arrested the truck driver and impounded the vehicle, according to Inspector Santosh Niraula.
