Jhapa, Aug 18: A male pedestrian was killed last night after getting rammed by an unidentified vehicle at Kankai municipality – 8 along the East – West Highway.
The man of estimated to be of 60 years of age was seriously injured in the accident and died on the way to B & C Hospital at Birtamode for treatment, said District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa.
The local authorities are trying to establish the identity of the man and the vehicle involved in the accident.
