Kathmandu, Sept 14: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called one and all to respect children’s rights through the establishment of child-friendly governance.
In the message of best wishes on the occasion of the National Children’s Day-2074 BS, the President insisted on the enforcement of constitutional and legal provisions, and the policy and programmes supporting children’s issues to find a strong ground for establishing the child-friendly governance.
The day was observed nationwide Thursday with the theme of ” Child friendly governance: respect to child rights.”
The Head-of-the-State wished for happiness, peace, prosperity of children and guarantee of opportunities their education, the Office of President in the press note.
