200 students get bicycles on children’s day

Kathmandu, Sept 14: Two-hundred students of Padmakanya Bidhyashram Secondary School here are provided with bicycles free of cost on the occasion of National Children’s Day.
Nepali Congress leader Prakashman Singh, distributing cycles managed with the help of the District Development Committee, Kathmandu to the students, said expected results in the education are yet to be achieved. The government should be serious towards obtaining expected progress in the education sector, he stressed. He was of the view of providing students of community schools with good environment for study to seegood results.
On a different note, the Congress leader called for unity among all political parties for the effective enforcement of constitution and thereby leading the country towards the path of development. RSS
