Dang. Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara has promised an impartial role during his term at the House of Representatives.
At a reception meeting organised by the Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) today, the Speaker said, “I am the public person for the next five years and I have been apolitical as I am not associated with any particular political party and will do my duty at the House of Representatives impartially.”
The first and foremost task of the lower house was to formulate news laws, the Speaker said, giving his words to focus on this work with a strong sense of responsibility. He went on to say that he would leave no stone unturned to perform duties as the lower house representative for the people of Dang.
In his response to demands for upgrading of Tarigaun Airport, operating regular flights and establishing a fuel depot there put forth by the TCCI, he vowed to take up the issues to authorities concerned, hinting the possibility of the establishment a fuel depot within a month.
