NAFEA halts dispatch of passports for work visa in Malaysia

Kathmandu, Sept 15: The Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies (NAFEA) has urged its member manpower agencies not to dispatch passports of Nepali aspiring to go to Malaysia for work for visa processing until anomalies in charging for the processing are stopped.
An agent namely One Step Centre (OSP) has been accused of charging extra Rs 2,800 illegally from each Nepali people aspiring to fly to Malaysia for employment in the name of visa processing.
Likewise, another agent named VLN Nepal has been charged with taking additional Rs 3,200 illegally from each Nepali going to Malaysia to work for the same purpose.
The actual fee for the same purpose is set at Rs 700. Meanwhile, NAFEA General Secretary Rohan Gurung confirmed the NAFEA’s urging. RSS
