Inaruwa, Sept 27: A person was killed in a local brawl between two groups at Narsingh VDC of Sunsari on Monday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Afroj Khatun, according to District Police Office, Sunsari.
The dispute ensued over an issue of cutting the grass on a local land property and turned violent. Khatun had started cutting the grass on a land adjoining a road which started the dispute.
His body has been sent to the District Hospital, Inaruwa for a post-mortem examination. Police have detained Sabarun Khatun, Amuna Khatun and Mustka Miya of Narsingh – 1 in accusation of involvement in the fight.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Binod Ghimire, said the police are launching further investigation into the incident. RSS
