Kathmandu, Sept 30: House Speaker Onsari Gharti today administered oath of office and secrecy to Mohan Prasad Baral, who was elected as Chairman of Agriculture and Water Resource Committee under the Legislature-Parliament.
Baral took the oath amidst a ceremony held at the House Speaker’s Office inside the Singha Durbar. Proposed by CPN (Maoist Centre) whip, Sita Nepali, and seconded by CPN (UML) lawmaker, Kashinath Adhikari, lawmaker Baral was elected unopposed on Thursday.
The lawmaker represents Sindhuli constituency – 2 from Nepali Congress ticket and had been a member with the Finance Committee earlier. RSS
