Kathmandu, Oct 2: Outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai paid a farewell call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the Office of the President here on Sunday.
Wu is returning home after completing his four-year tenure as the Chinese envoy to Nepal.
On the occasion, President Bhandari and Ambassador Wu discussed wide range of issues relating to matters of mutual interests and bilateral cooperation.
President Bhandari extended her gratitude to China for its cooperation to Nepal, especially in the search and rescue operation following the Gorkha Earthquake and post-quake reconstruction drive, stated a press statement released by the Office of President. RSS
