Bhadrapur, Oct 3: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ramesh Lekhak, has said the government would not limit the construction of postal highway in political slogans and speech, but was implementing it very soon.
Opening the blacktopping of Charali-Kechana and Bhadrapur-Rajgadh roadways in Jhapa on Monday, Minister Lekhak said the government has forwarded the construction of 17 postal roads from Mechi to Mahakali.
For the completion of seven out of the 17 roads, government has already allocated Rs 5.5 billion. The construction companies must finish the task in the stipulated timeframe, he stressed.
On the occasion, Minister for General Administration Keshav Kumar Budhathoki said even the country’s administration needs to be restructured for proper management of government employees while restructuring the whole shebang.
NC lawmaker Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Secretary at Physical Infrastructures, Dhan Bahadur Tamang and others suggested the government that construction must not be delayed. RSS
