Bhadrapur, Oct 15: As many as 34 persons missing in a boat capsize in Mai Khola in Ilam, on Friday, have been rescued. Over 50 people including around 15 children were travelling in the boat. The boat capsized due to overload, it is learnt.
According to Ilam Police Superintendent Sushil Yadav, four deceased were indentified while one minor is yet to be identified as five people were killed in the incident.
The identified deceased are Dambar Maya Magar, 48, Pabitra Poudel, 58, Harka Bahadur Rana, 58 and Jas Bahadur Rai, 75, police said. RSS
