Foreign Minister Mahat leaving for India tomorrow

Kathmandu, Oct 25: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat is leaving for New Delhi, India, tomorrow to take part in the 4th Nepal-India Joint Commission meeting scheduled for October 27.

Dr Mahat is scheduled to co-chair the meeting where External Affairs Minister of India Sushma Swaraj is also scheduled to partake as co-chairperson from Indian side, said a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

The commission meeting will review the bilateral issues including relations between Nepal and India.

The Nepali delegation includes Foreign Secretary and other senior government officials. Minister Dr Mahat is scheduled to return home on October 28. RSS
