Relief distribution to 170 households by Spanish citizen By Alma in collaboration with EDFO Nepal
Kathmandu. Relief has been distributed to 170 families by Spanish citizen Alma Millan in collaboration with Education Development Foundation Nepal.

Relief has been distributed to 170 households below the extreme poverty line today (Wednesday). Kami Sherpa, Executive Director of EDFO Nepal, said that relief has been distributed to the needy people living below the extreme poverty line in 10 different districts of Nepal.
‘We have distributed relief to 170 extremely poor families from 10 different districts of Nepal who have come to Kathmandu temporarily to make it easier for them to celebrate Dashain,” said Executive Director Sherpa. We have distributed 25 kg of rice, 3 kg of pulses, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of salt and 1 kg of sugar as relief to those who are suffering from daily wages.’
Alma Millan, a Spanish citizen, said the relief was distributed with financial support from Barcelona-based Terrassa City. Sherpa also said that Alma has been helping the poorest families in Nepal with education and food since 2013.
The relief has been provided to the parents of the extremely poor students studying at Nepal Ratna Vidyalaya in Tarkeshwor, Kathmandu. Director Sherpa also said that more than 300 extremely poor students are being taught free of cost in the same school.
