Leadership Development Training and Seminar for Women organized by The Small World (TSW) Nepal
Solukhumbu. The Small World (TSW) has organized leadership development training and symposium for women. Motivational speaker Vikas Dev Yonjan imparted training on leadership development to the students.

(TSW) has provided leadership development training to 40 female students in its dormitory at Salleri on the occasion of 112th International Women’s Day. Bakta Yonjan said that women should develop self-confidence and suggested them to start studying from an early age.
Speaking on the occasion, TSW President Karma Sherpa said that the social organization has been working in the field of education, health, community development and women empowerment for the last 16 years.
Gandhimaya Tamang, a member of the Municipal Council of Soludhudhkund Municipality, said that a representative should be elected to speak in favor of women in the local level elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Shardamaya Tamang, Municipal Spokesperson of Soludhudhkund Municipality, said that women should compete in politics as politics is the biggest force.

Similarly, Tanki Maya Basnet, chairperson of the Women’s Human Rights Defenders Network, said that women should be educated for their rights and such programs would help in the empowerment of women.
Women leader Radhika Shrestha said that such seminars and trainings were needed, adding that it would help in building the capacity of women.
District Vice President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bina Rai, said that there was a need for strong presence of women in the media and added that the future of women in the field of journalism was bright.
Similarly, Anita Tamang, a former student of the dormitory, shared her success story by completing a nursing course with the help of The Small World (TSW) and working at Norvik International Hospital. Former student Shanti Rai said that she was happy to complete her higher education with the help of The Small World and work as the in-charge of Phuleli Health Post. Devai Karki, a student studying in the dormitory, said that she was impressed by the ideas of the speakers in the program.

Secretary of the organization Utraman Khaling said that since only women’s education can build a disciplined and civilized society, more than 250 students have been educated with the help of The Small World and more than 50 have been working in various fields such as education, nursing, banking and others.
