Panchthar, July 28: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and former minister Purna Kumar Serma is receiving treatment for kidney failure at Nidan Hospital in Kathmandu.
Serma was transferred to the hospital from Bir Hospital where he was admitted a week ago after his health condition deteriorated. Then doctors involved in his treatment declared that Serma suffered kidney failure.
Leader Serma is receiving dialysis, said NC leader Dharmendra Bikram Nembang, who was with him at that time, adding that the treatment will continue until tomorrow (Saturday). Serma, 74, is also former NC central member.
