Pokhara, Sept 19: The fifth edition of the Sangam Cup 7-A-Side Football Tournament will be held in Pokhara from next week.
The tournament organized by Sangam Club will be held from October 1 to 8 at Machapokhari football ground, Club’s Chairman, Shiva Gurung said.
A total of 40 teams from across the country will take part in the event to be sponsored by Hong Kong, Sangam Club and LG.
The winning team will be rewarded a cash prize of Rs 121, 111 while the first runner-up will receive Rs 61, 111. Both the top two teams will receive a trophy each, medals and certificates, Gurung added.
The ‘man of the tournament’ will receive Rs 5,000 in cash prize while best goal keeper, striker, defender and highest scorer will receive Rs 2,000 each. RSS
