Sajha to shut Biratnagar office, Dharan office to be upgraded as regional body



Pathari (Morang) Sept 22:Sajha Prakashan, a public publishing house, has decided to close its eastern regional office based in College Road of Biratnagar.
Sajha that was established as a succeeding body to Nepali Bhasha Prakashni Samiti in order to promote Nepali language, art, culture and education in 1970 decided to shut its regional office as its transactions have come to a total halt these days .
Organisation’s General Manager Dolindra Prasad Sharma said they had no option to closing its Biratnagar regional office which was in loss for couple of years. He said Sajha office based in Dharan of Sunsari would be upgraded as a regional office. “The organisation is in the dire need of reforms to cope up with a severe economic crisis, resulted in from managerial weaknesses, it has been facing for years,” he said.
Likewise, Sajha has planned to close its offices in Dang, Butwal and Birgunj if possible before the upcoming Dashain Festival. RSS
