Chitwan, Oct 17: A cyclist was killed after getting hit by a truck at Anpataari in Bharatpur last night.
The deceased has been identified as Ram Kumar Nepali of Gorkha Prithvinarayan Municipality – 9 and currently living in Chitwan, District Police Office (DPO), Chitwan said.
The truck (Ba 3 Kha 1101) heading towards Muglin from Narayangadh rammed the cycle which was crossing the road at 10: 30 pm. Nepali, who sustained serious injuries, died in course of treatment the same night at Chitwan Medical College. He is also a vehicle driver, according to police.
The truck driver involved in the accident has not come into contact with the police who have launched a search to find him. RSS
